Hello All,

Nothing to do with eme, but i need advice on my HF PA with 3-500z.

I has not been used for some time and when i switched it on today i had severe 
arcings and flashes inside the tube.
Fuse on main power supply went dead. I had no time to react quickly.

Inside the tube i can see deposit, result of the arcing.

I'm afraid the tube is dead ?

Should i try to vacuum the tube?

That is : disconnecting HV from tube and then switch on the PA, to get only the 
heater on?
For how long ?
