[Moon-net] Delrin replacement..?

Hi...I'm going over a pair of 20 year old K1FO-25 yagis before remounting them and wondered if there was a time limit on the life of the Delrin insulators...?  These have obviously degraded with UV exposure, and all are actually now light grey viaually, yet still black on closed or contact surfaces. Do these become leaky, and/or lossy after x number of years...?

Any tips on re-doing one of these classic 432 yagis...?    73...Jordan VE6ZT
