[Moon-net] Advise on bifilar choke for 8877 filament

I gave that a thought but making the coils and chokes is not that
hard. After I paid Rich for his labor plus shipping I might as well
stock up on necessary magnet wire form Nebraska Surplus Sales. I
also needed a transmitting ceramic capacitor and good quality
N-female flange-mount connnectors and I addes some silver-mica caps
in small values to round out the order.

Thanks to all that responded. I decided to faithfully follow the
design notes from Eimac and make the #12awg bifilar choke. I needed
some 14awg wire for coils so have 25-foot of each comming which will
add to my supplies for future needs. I may be winding some matching
toroid coils for a 500-KHz Beverage antenna, soon.

I will update the project webpage in a week or so when I have more to show:
http://www.kl7uw.com/2m-8877.htm

The control/bias/metering panel is completed but doing some troubleshooting.
