Fact is that the length of the elements depend if you are using isolated
elements or not, if mounted through or on top of the boom, in case on top
how much, and by the diameter of the boom. I advice you to start reading
and many things will get clear. Also google around....treasure Internet
exists when treated in the right way.

Hi Fellow Emers!
I have plans for 2x14 element yagi for 144 MHz.
The specified boom diameter is 25 mm (1'') Al tube.
Can I use diameter 30 mm tube instead?
Does the change have any noticeable effect on anything?
