[Moon-net] noise measurment

Hi All,
As I am new to these things, I would like to ask for any information 
relating to Sun noise measurements. What equipment is needed and what 
type of setup is required.

Today I calibrated the WSJT Software to 0 and then pointed my system to 
the sun. I read a 6db level, which I believe is sun noise. As I said I 
am new to these kind of things and would very much appreciate any 
feedback relating to this.
