The winds here on Sunday were too high to operate until very late and so I did not unlock the dish. On Saturday I worked 37 stations including ( I think) one initial, DK8VS. Conditions were very variable. Polarisation varied between being very sharp and well defined at times to being completely spread with no peak. Signal levels were definitely down here, I'd guess about 2dB. I understand that there was some Auroral activity so that may explain it. Stations worked were VK3UM, UA3PTW, KL6M, SV1BTR, G3LQR, SP6JLW, DF3RU, DL5FN, OK1DFC, DL1YMK, UA6LGH, SM3JQU, OZ6OL, I1NDP, IK6EIW, JA6AHB, SM2CEW, JA9BOH, SM3BYA, OZ4MM, F3VS, S53RM, NC1I, YO2IS, SD3F, UT2EG, SV3AAF, DK8VS, K1RQG, RW3PX, K1FO, DL7APV, I5CTE, G4RGK, W8TXT, K2UYH, VE6TA, HB9Q. Heard in QSOs were IK2RTI and WA6PY.
I know that there were two other US stations on who made QSOs , WW2R and K7XQ, but that still only makes a total of 7, roughly one quarter of the European activity, there must be some reason for this? TVI, Birdies, Wx?
Thanks to everyone for the nice QSOs,I found the operating was really good throughout.
If anyone wants a test on 432 ( or 1296) this week, please email.
 73 Peter , G3LTF
6m dish, fully variable polarisation, 0.35dB NF.
