Hi,

Today I heard my first echoes on 10GHz. I'm using only a QRP SSPA, about
6.5W from my tropo setup.
If the weather will not be too windy I will be qrv both on 5.7G and 10G
during the EU EME Contest weekend.
I know that such a low power will be really marginal to make a QSO but
perhaps it is worth to try anyway.
I'm ready for skeds if somebody is interested to try...

Perhaps I may be able to install a 20W TWTA later next week, but it's too
late for this weekend...

I will be also QRV on 5.7 GHz.

My setup:
10GHz:
4.5 m dish, linear pol. and only 6.5W, Rx NF about 0.8dB, about 1.5-2dB
moon noise.

5.7GHz:
4.5 m dish, CP, 18W Rx NF about 0.6 dB, about 0.8-1 dB moon noise.

It will take me about 15-30 minutes to switch the band between 5.7 & 10GHz.

73, Viljo ES5PC
