[Moon-net] 144 preamp

I am getting ready to launch a small 144 meg EME array. Just got the MT-1000. 
I have a question about a preamp. 
I have a SSB model MHP145. I took it out of the case and noticed the relays are pretty small. My power level will be 1,000 watts out of an under driven  8877. 
I  will mostly be using the JT program.
Will this preamp handle the 1,000 watts key down
I will be on the air around July 6th. My single 17B2 has been working really well but there is no elevation.
