In a discussion with W0DRL as to the stacking of my
antennas four high two wide, he indicated that this
may not be the best arrangement since I am using the
array primarily for tropo. What is the general
consensus about this arrangement? The antennas
are 23 el VE7BQH on 7.2 wl booms for 432 Mhz.

4x2 is the only way to go if you are primarily terrestrial.
That said, we've reverted to 4x1 + 2x1 for tropo contests -
4x2 just takes t o o long to set up in the field.
For EME you'll have to ride the elevation control but that
is small price to pay for versatility.
