Gentlemen,
now that the overwhelming wave of congrats and kind comments has subsided let me renew my thanks to all of you!
It certainly speaks for the good spirit within our fraternity that in NONE of the mails not even the slightest hunch of envy appeared.
IMHO, this "milestone" should be seen in the light of relativity.
Less placative, but often more important, are the achievements of others who have done pioneering work in the early days of EME, or have been doing research on antennas, preamps and software, or have explored EME in the high GHz range.
I could mention dozens of calls in this context but refrain from it because the negligent omission of one of them might mean an offense.
What next? Keeping the system going towards initial 1000, playing with my 3 grandsons and chase DX on 160m.
