[Moon-net] Bird problem

 I thought an element had gone on my Bird 43 - very low reading.
 Just realised that the problem is the same with other elements. Any
 obvious diagnosis before I take it apart?

Hi All,

The cable screw off connector in the "meter movement case"
will be usually the culprit for problem described.

Just unscrew connector, spray a bit of contact spray on connector and
screw back on, usually it is fixed.

Normaly there is a pot in the power element for adjustment also,
 but that is more compicated to fix if part of problem.
