I am very sorry to hear the sad news about Rainer passing away and we have again lost one of our great persons. I will remember Rainer for all his famous articles in DUBUS about antennas, preamps NF- meters and much much more interesting things for us, and also part of very succesfull expeditions on 432 MHz EME. Rainer was a great help for me when I build my first DJ9BV antennas for a 432MHz EME system in 1991, and we had long and good talks on the telephone. I have been very lucky to meet Rainer at the EME conference in Thorn and also here in OZ on our way to the EME conference in Gothenburg. It was always very interesting and great pleasure to meet and talk to Rainer.

My condolences goes to his family !

We will miss you.
