Hi...does anyone have docs or info on a Brass N male conector for LDF4-50A
marked MK 155 210 01 ?
It may be a Plessey connector, but I can't find anything online...
After the time I lost tracking down one bad cable, I'm going through all of
them one and for all ( or at least a winters worth ), and two of these came
up in a splice. I won't resue them, unless I find some docs, as they are
press-fit, and I'd like to know what the loss specs are, and a detailed
instruction sheet.
They have a removable flaring ring that 'floats' on the dielectric, and a
self-clamping 1/2 dia 2pc ridged ring , a rear section that threads on, and
has a 2mm hole drilled in one side, and ~ 10-12mm threaded hole with a nylon
set-screw inserted...
I did discover that even if a cable tests well using a 50 ohm load at the
far end, using Amateur bands for testing doesn`t tell the whole story, but
more on that later..... 73...Jordan VE6ZT
