[Moon-net] OT: Travelling in Paris

Hello,

since I do not have any other contact to France, can somebody please help me. My daugther will take one semester at Rennes university and so I have to bring her with the car to Rennes, so end of August I have to travel back from Rennes to Munich by public transports. There are two choices:
1) Train from Rennes to Paris-Montparnasse, Metro to Paris-Est, Train from Paris-Est to Munich
2) Train from Rennes to Paris-Montparnasse, Metro to Orly, Plane from Orly to Munich

Both choices are about the same price.

My questions:
1) How much time do I need with Metro from Paris-Montparnasse to Paris-Est?
2) How much time do I need with Metro from Paris-Montparnasse to Orly? Is one hour enough for check-in at Orly?
3a) I am not sure if the TGV ticket is valid for Metro, too. Do you know?
3b) I have somewhere seen that the normal Metro ticket is not valid until the final destination at Orly airport. Am I right?
