Hi Gang:
well the base concrete has been poured and is in the process of harding
Now I have a question one of the bases is for a 20 foot dish (18 foot
was what it measured but I think I can add another two feet) also feed
the septum feed for 1296 MHz. The other base has Rohn 55 one section in
it for either yagies or 12 foot dish.
Now the question: what would give me better gain 4 Horz. yagies or the
20 foot dish on 432 MHz? On the dish I hope to build a H V dipole feed
something like HB9Q used ( He has a very big dish) which I also think Al
W2UYH is using the same for his Smaller dis feed.
OR is there something else I can do.
If the dipole feed will work better I will put a 12 Dish on the Rohn and
probably go for 5.7 GHz and maybe 10 GHz when I get the equipment?
Any ideas and help?
Ed
