Oscar,
If you decide not to build your own and can afford commercial antennas from
the USA, you should contact Bernardo. Bernardo is frequently involved with
the guys from the San Bernadino Microwave Society that operate from Baja
California during the ARRL 10GHz contest in August and September of each
year. Maybe some of them have used antennas, parts or can assist you with
importing new antennas during their expeditions. Bernardo can probably get
you in contact with the guys in Southern CA.
Nice to hear a new active on 6m from DL44. I hear you frequently and you
have a good signal on 6m. It is also possible to work 2m meteor scatter
from there into the USA. I have worked Bernardo before in DL44 and DL54.
