My old father witch was pasionated by TVDX use to protect his yagis dipole
boxes with a simple liquid compound, based on polystyrene (from inside your
TVCR brand new box) and acetone. I'm not sure if blend it's completely
microwave inert but appears to be, and it's very light.

Subject: [Moon-net] Antenna corrosion protection

Hi,
I live on the coast and antenna corrosion from the salt-laden atmosphere is
a huge problem.
Being about to erect some new 23 cms yagis I would like to provide some
protection of both the booms and elements. In the past I seem to recall
seeing advice on this reflector on the best form of coating to use . Any
comments gratefully received.
Thanks, Ken G8VR
