Hello,

I am currently working for setting up a feed mounted PA for 13cm. With a little bit more power and no cable losses, this should result in an carefully said 3dB stronger signal.

Since my progress looks quite good, I might be on 13cm during this weekend. I also want to test my 2424MHz mixer, so if some JA stations find some time it would really be appreciated.

Rig then: 4.5m dish, Septum polarizer feed with chapperal ring, preamp 0.6dB, app. 200W at the feed.

73, Günter, DL4MEA

PS: Have you ever seen how difficulty it is to feed 25A up to the feed? Gosh, my 3mm² cable currenlty looses nearly 3V then. And at the moment copper seems to be really rare, no good price power cable with 10mm² available anywhere
