Hello Walter,

Please allow the freedom I take to explain a couple of advantages you are missing if you don’t play with a laptop:

Prerequisite: You should know how to 'click'.

When you have a QSO with station A you can click another line and have a QSO with station B. This is called two QSOs in one. A was the regular QSO and B was the bonus.

You can have a QSO even if you forget your transceiver switched off. Anyway internet chat-room is there for you to use, what do you need your radio for? In this case as you understand you also enjoy the benefit of no TVI at all --> Success!
