Gentlemen
I can with-hold my disgust no longer .
It has seemingly become the norm for some to use reflectors to
be-little those that choose not to QSL.
They also express their "How good I am" attitude in sending out their
QSL. It has even reached the point of including reports so that
'belligerent' persons may 'confirm' the QSO and
respond to their demands
.
It is a form of intimidation and the height of bad manners.
Once upon a time, (and not so long ago), EME QSL's were sent by most
without fan fare. It was the unspoken done thing by the EME
fraternity. Not everyone chose to QSL but
at no stage were they be-little'd for not doing so .. some had
totally valid reasons for not participating, as would still be the case today.
They certainly were not listed as tardy non QSL'ers on web sites, nor
did persons brag about their QSL prowess.
The ethical standards for EME QSL have seemingly changed .. and for
me it is for the worse.
It further taints the eroded image of EME that is prevalent today.
