Dear EMErs,
Today it is possible to store photos on the web, to geo-localized they.
So,> I propose to create an EME antennas photos database and to put it
available for the EME community.

Then each EMEr will be able to visualize the antenna of the DX station he
is contacting. How to do that ? with downloading the database file (an
example is available on <http://www.f1ehn.org/> my web site) into Google
Earth <http://pagesperso-orange.fr/f1ehn/images/ex_ksx.jpg> .

This feature will also be available in the coming version of EME System
 <http://pagesperso-orange.fr/f1ehn/images/ex_nc1i.jpg> .

Of course, all is free (storage, database, update, use).. The database is
usable outside EME System.

Allen K2UYH has done a first appeal in the march 2008 EME NL
(http://www.nitehawk.com/rasmit/NLD/eme0803.pdf).

Please, send me via email ( <mailto:jj at f1ehn.org> jj at f1ehn.org) :
- a photo of your antenna (1 per band) (640*480 pxl or more)
- a comment / title of this photo (ex : F6KSX 3cm - 3.3m dish)
- add a precise latitude and longitude (exact location/position of
the antenna
- your grid square (locator)
- the nearest city to check the location of the photo

Some details on my web site : <http://www.f1ehn.org/>
http://www.f1ehn.org
or here : http://pagesperso-orange.fr/f1ehn/download/EME_database.pdf

I will also appreciate your comment and remark about this feature. You can
test the feature with this example file :
<http://pagesperso-orange.fr/f1ehn/download/EME.kmz>

Have a good test and good WE.
Best 73.
