Folks,
I posted the post re remote control resource on American PBS TV, as we have to eventually think that way for the Jamesburg Dish, as it is a long drive from anywhere, ( at least an hour from anywhere, and 2+ hours from Silicon Valley.
It is served by high bandwidth fiber, currently dark, and if Jamesburg lives a long life, it would be an obvious candidate for a fully remote control operation for EME or whatever it is destined to do.
The TV show team demonstrated a good job of remoting their telescopes, including real time pointing to a desired object, with immediate video image feedback, all done from the comforts of their home locations, while networking with each other in real time.
