Carsten
I am rebuilding my 24 GHz system. It will consist of a 2.4M offset fed dish
(same dish as used on 47 GHz EME) with a 100 watt TWT mounted at the feed.
It should be QRV in the next couple of weeks. I will be on 24048 MHz with
horizontal preferred but I too also have a twist section so I can go
vertical.

Hi,

with the help of Gerd, PA0BAT, who was able to help us with a short WR42
waveguide twist, we are now QRV with vertical polarisation on 24GHz (for
'all the US and Canadian guys' ;-)).

Rig here at DL0SHF is a 3.7m dish, 24 W at the feed.
Sun noise today with a SFI of 67 was 12.8dB, Moon noise is around 2dB.

Let us know if you would like to make a test during the next weeks.
