Hello,
just came back from IS0 JM48ku (Chia).
I have to apologyse with all friends who
sent me request for EME sked 2m/70cm, but
I could not manage to be QRV on EME due to almost
every day strong wind, no chance to keep the antenna
system on the moon!!!
Just worked HB9Q on 70cm EME....I do suggest whoever is planning to be QRV
on EME from IS0/JM48 to use short yagis
since I've been told that strong wind blows almost everyday
in that place (in effect Chia is well known as a windsurf/kitesurf spot....I
was the only one not knowing it!!).
Also MS has been very difficult since had mountains surrouding
JM48 from approx 100 to 270 deg.
I did manage to work:
1 x 70cm EME QSO
12 x 2m MS QSO
7 x 4m MS QSO (4 new first one)
