I just talked to Paul in Idaho and he gave me a critical update about
the operation. It is now heavy overcast there, and he has lost his
azimuth tracking and cannot find the moon. Paul apologizes for this
interruption, and will do his best to fix the problem between now
and next moon. However, if he cannot fix the azimuth tracking and it
is overcast for the next moon pass [Sep 5] he will not be able to
to continue the operation via visual tracking and will have to
terminate the Western States expedition.

He had a great moon pass on Sep 4 and worked twenty plus stations
with a lot of QRM! If he can get repaired, he will look for ES5PC,
VK4AFL, and others as well as the other four schedules.

Thanks to all for your participation and please for those that have
not yet worked paul in Idaho, be patient. He is trying his best to
resolve the problems.
