I will be in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia tonight (Sunday 2
September-Monday 3 September,) testing my rover before next weekend's
ARRL VHF contest.
If anyone can reply within the next hour before I leave (before 1715
UTC,) (no mobile phone or internet in the mountains,) and would like to
try a sked on either 144 or 432 CW with my QRP station, I would be
delighted to try. I can operate on moonrise-c. 0250 UTC from my
location at FM08to for about two hours (I have wheel ramps which allow
me about 10 degrees elevation.)
If no replies, I will call CQ on 144.075 CW, one-minute intervals,
KC3RE transmitting first minute starting at 0250 UTC 3 September.
Grateful for any reports if anyone even hears me. I'll be in a clear
place with a good take-off at about 3,600 ft. elevation.
73,
Martin, KC3RE
