The comment on calling CQ is the big discovery for me.
My QRPp signal (125w at 4x 3WL xpol) is too weak for contest stations
to see with all the competition from QRO stations.
By calling CQ, I got a lot of activity from callers. I would say my
success rate was 1:4, so the addition of more RF output will produce
big increase in worked stations.
