[Moon-net] EME weekend

Even that I'm not taking part in the contest anymore (was very 
disappointed few years ago when ARRL didnt't "find my log" twice) I was 
hanging around looking for initials (I was in the logger). I missed most 
of US window in 2nd leg due to family affairs. Found conditions good in 
first leg, favourable in 2nd leg and getting worse on sunday evening 
with vy strong Faraday to stateside. Remarkable is the very low number 
of US callsigns.

After contest : W0PT, A61Q (huge drift, 350 Hz in 6 minutes, hard...). 
This weekend was good for 16 initials and 1 DXCC. Not bad.
Heard 44 more in JT65 and 11 in CW but din't call due to pile, lost moon 
or worked b4 several times. QRL/XYL and weather permitting I will be on 
again 2nd part calling everyone who is in need of points. Will 
concentrate on CW 1st leg. and JT65 2nd leg.
Remarks: Most of this QSO's would have been impossible at my old QTH in 
the middle of a town. Noise level was incredible there, 144 was filled 
with birds and pulsing noise. The new QTH is a paradise instead. Two 
weak and small birdies from 144.100 to 144.150, and almost no birds from 
030-100. When condx are favourable I can work single yagis (14dBd) 
running 100W (or more of course), thats not bad for a small fish like me 
:-).
