Hello,
I do no remember having had such a successful moon pass ever, probably even when once having been QRV on 70cm.
Worked:
RA3AQ, SM4DHN, K4QI, WA6PY, DF3RU, SP6JLW, N2UO, SM3AKW, DL1YMK (*1), ES5PC, OZ6OL, K1JT, WW2R (*4), K9SLQ (*2), N0OY, IK3COJ, G3LTF, OK1DFC, OK1KIR, G4CCH, SK0UX, OH2DG, HB9Q, RW1AW, VA7MM (*3), N9JIM
(*1) found on 1296.035, I believe this is my highest frequency random.
(*2) my first real 599 signal
(*3) on his CQ, I think due to this it is proven that my chapperal ring gives benefit. Waiting for SM5LE in order to compare
(*4) called me after K1JT, worked on the side, thanks Al and Joe
Real radios smell, something in my HV power supply started smelling, and since the plate voltage drops more than I am used to, I think it might be missing one of the three phases.
4.5m dish, f/D=0.32, round septum polarizer feed with chapperal ring
About 750W at the feed
0.5dB or so preamp
Looking forward for tonight!
73, Günter (dl4mea)
