Several people have written to me, both on- and off-list, about the
following known problem with the experimental WSJT version 5.9.8

This is a program bug, and it will be fixed before this experimental
version of WSJT becomes a real release. The error occurs only if you
have installed WSJT r558 to a directory containing a blank in the file
name. Unfortunately, this includes the default directory,

C:\Program Files\WSJT6

A temporary work-around for this problem is very simple. On the Setup
-> Options screen, change the entry in the
"AzElDir:" box from the default

C:\Program Files\WSJT6

to

C:\

The effect will be to have the Az and El information (used by many to
direct a separate EME moon-tracking program that controls antenna
positioners) written to a small file in the
computer's root directory, C:\

Please note: unless you want to test the experimental modes JT2 and JT4,
there is NO good reason to install WSJT 5.9.8 r558.
