I am really hesitating. Narrow bandwidth is very lasy. BUT... with less
and less stations on 144Mhz it means "Use it or LOOSE IT!!!" So I prefer
JT65. At least we will use the wider portion of the band. If JT4 proves
for EME on UHF let it be in WSJT as an additional mode. As I stated I am
against any PSK mode. It may be the same for the average operator but
for people like me who operate mainly in difficult situations being
portabele or so called in USA "rover" stations it is degradation. I
preffer class C non linear amplifier for my next expedition. It is
easyer and cheaper while I have to use generator.
During my conversations on the KST chat I learned peoples are
interesting fronm following /by priority/:
1. Real instant decoding on FSK441 /no clicking/
2. Further more down dbs on JT65. No matter how!!!
3. Better interface /they all prefered version 4.xx interface/
IMHO the three main preority in future upgrading of WSJT program. May be
high time to pay some additional attention to FSK441 ?
