I am so saddened to learn of the passing of Josep.  Though we never met in
person we worked many times via EME.  As others have commented, his signal
and hearing ability were outstanding for the size of his antenna array.  His
signals always amazed me.  One contact in particular stands out.  On
7/11/2004 I worked Josep via SSB EME, with OOO/RO reports!  Considering my
own small station (2 x 16), this shows what an outstanding pair of ears he
had.

I will surely miss that great signal when I get back on EME.
