[Moon-net] ARRL contest....an after thought

I completely agree with you. I've already commented that many of the regulars 
on 10GHz were playing elsewhere, which led to a dilution of activity. I'm 
sure that there is a case for running the Microwave EME Contest over (at 
least!) two weekends. 

The explosion in activity on 13cm makes it a candidate for full weekend 
status, possibly in association with 9cm. A second weekend covering 6, 3 and 
the higher bands would then make sense.  

I'm not so sure that the Microwave part of the ARRL EME Contest now needs to 
be associated with the VHF/UHF band section. Breaking the link would give a 
lot more flexibility in the choice of weekends.
