A local friend of mine was given some coax and needs connectors for a
couple of VHF antennas for emergency work.
Does anyone know of a source? Or would it be better to just make
something out of plumbing parts? Tnx.

The smaller coax I have has the identification "84147-Andrew" and
"FHJ4-50B Heliax 32361-AO2F" printed on it.

A call to Andrew indicates that the FHJ4 cable production stopped about 30-years ago.
The tech rep says the original connectors for UHF were 44AP(male) and 44AU (female) and the only place they
might be found is in the "parts bucket" of some HAM Radio operators.
