It strikes me that there's a business opportunity here...
Does anyone want to design and build an XYL cancelling microphone? When
she's wearing it, she would be 180 degree phase cancelled, and the buyer of the
unit (the OM) wouldn't even have to wear headphones! I know there has to be
a market here...

Hi All ,
I have the Sennheiser HDC 200 Noiseguard . They cut the blower even with
the noise cancelling Off.
When you switch the Noise Cancelling On , it's like you are in a room
all alone and not a sound from the 350cfm
blower.
And as someone said , you cannot hear the XYL even if she starts screaming.
