Hello everyone,
On 22nd May 2007 @ 1100 -1115 utc, I completed my first QSO on 3.4 GHz EME with Willi LX1DB. Sigs: 529 /559 (and a very FB and quick QSO!) Rx needs work!!
(Can someone tell me what the 3.4 GHz EME world record is?)
I think this is the first VK contact on 3.4 GHz EME and I am very pleased to be on a new band. I have a lot of work still to do, to optimise the system as I am only just hearing echoes, (and they should be quite loud). Hopefully improvememts will come quickly and I can work similar sized stations as mine soon. All things being well, I hope to be QRV for the activity weekend.
.....Looking forward to working others on 9cm. Please contact me for skeds.
