[Moon-net] 3.4 GHz Activity VK3NX Update

Hello to all on 3.4GHz
                                I have completed the station and am waiting only for a reprogrammed CPLD  before the LO will be GPS locked.

Results / station so far:

3.7 M dish (mesh)
110 W amp +  0.6dB loss     (95 W @ feed)
0.73 dB LNA
CP feed  ( Screw polariser)

Sun noise ~ 10dB 
Moon noise ~ 0.28dB 
(heavy cloud cover during testing)

This morning I could hear my echoes (for the first time) through the ground noise as the moon was low on the horizon.

I will be available for skeds tomorrow for anyone in Eastern Eu....But my window is a little limited due to current moon position....
...No window with NA  until next week.

Many tnx to ALL whom helped with information etc....  to help me get on this band. ( I think just about everyone currently on 3.4!)..... I look forward to working you all soon.  

Is the planned Activity Weekend in June a "definite" ?
