[Moon-net] JT set-up problem

After a period of inactivity I have set up the JT software on a new laptop (Dell Inspiron) but have noted what appears to be a software problem but could, as is often the case, be something to do with my stupidity!

I set up the Mic Volume control for a level of 0db. All is OK for a while, and then suddenly the level increase to ~20db and the waterfall display saturates. Even sliding the volume control down to zero doesn't reduce the level. I relaunch the programme and all is OK again.

Anybody else experienced this?
