Hello!
Although I being QRP station I had a great time this year during 70cm CW
Dubus Contest. After RX failure some months ago I found some time to
repair it. I also made new good preamp - official thanks to Jan DL9KR
for FHX35 support;) System is still 4 x 25el (open-wire) and 200W at
shack (when cold hi hi). I can say that I have maximum of 150W at
antenna and power is going to 100W when PA is getting warm.
Finally, I found my RX working very good for the first time. The only
thing I need is more power!

I managed to make 2 qsos - congrats to Stig and Mike for great RX,
patience and determination to dig my signal out of noise even after 10
or more qrz's.

Log:

24.03 22:33z OZ4MM RO/O #5
24.03 23:08z KL6M O/RO #6

I also heard:
SV1BTR, VK3UM, DL9KR, K1FO, G3LTF, K2UYH, UA3PTW, SP6JLW, DL1?MK?,
VK4AFL, FR5DB, SM2CEW, RW1AW, DK3WG, VE6TA, SM3BYA, G4RGK

Strongest signals on the band were DL9KR and OZ4MM. Unfortunatelly Jan
DL9KR was busy working stronger guys while I heard him... and did not
hear him later. Also VK3UM had great signal. I was calling Doug a long
time and we close to make it. I was getting qrz's right in my periods
and he had parts of my callsign - as I remeber I rx'ed 'qrz 7' and 'qrz
cs'. So, many thanks Doug for your effort and time - I am sure we can
make it next time. I was only dissapointed with absence of some regular
big gun stations in this contest:(

I will continue work on my QRO, but the sad true is that even with
current power I have TVI problems on lower elevations. It seems that
70cm will be a 'night band' for me when qro is completed.
