Hi,

After a successful "remote assisted" equipment switch (from 1296 MHz to
5.7 GHz) at my dish setup in ES today it seems that everything works fine
now on 5.7 GHz. I heard my echoes well enough for CW copy. Unfortunately I
still use linear polarization and rather low power.
During my previous 5.7 GHz operations I have worked 3 initials: F2TU,
OK1KIR and IK2RTI. Also heard VK3NX but not completed a qso with him yet.

I will be available during the weekend and possibly also during next week
for skeds. The weather forecast is good for my qth for this weekend and
most of the next week as well.

My setup:

4.5m solid dish,
Patch feed with a scalar ring (linear polarization),
Output power at the feed about 10-15W,
RX NF about 0.6dB,

The station is remote controlled (from Sweden)over the internet.

73,

Viljo ES5PC / SM0WCM
