At one time Barry, VE4MA, stated that to do 10-GHz eme one needed 
stations with ten-foot dishes and at least 15w at the feed to do 
CW.  Getting 15-25w is much easier today (though it means using a 
TWT).  I will be using an 8-foot dish with surface good to 14-GHz and 
50w TWT.  On receive one should try to get a preamp <1 dB Noise 
figure.  At this time JT65 is not very usable on 10-GHz due to the 
phase distortion caused by the Moon.  K1JT is working on ideas for 
improving JT65 so that it can be used above 1296 MHz (this is the 
highest band I have heard of its successful use).
