I have the IC7000 since short, for mobile (rarely...) or /P operations. I
have not too much experience yet with WSJT, I use my home made gear still
foor EME/MS on 2m, but soon as I have any info I will publish it here. I can
only confirm that the AGC CAN indeed be switched off!

Hi All,
This radio is known to have AGC problems. I do not know whether it is a
problem for WSJT because I assume that WSJT is better with AGC switched off.
I just do not know if IC-7000 has the AGC=off option.....
The problem is that the AGC voltage is derived from a peak detector with
high dynamic range so infrequent but very strong pulses will cause a high
AGC voltage and no signal....
