As far as I know, Linrad will install on all Linux distributions.
The latest Ubuntu I tried was 6.1 but I have not heard anything
about problems with more recent versions.
The problem is most probably that your installation is not
complete. You need the standard development environment GCC
and you also need the X11 libraries if you want to use X11.
The assembler "nasm" might not be included in the Ubuntu
distribution, but it is available as a Debian package.
In any case, there must be an error message of some kind.
I suggest you make a posting to the Linrad mailing list
with what you think is a relevant part of that error
message. Someone will then tell you what is missing.
