It is an unpleasant e-mail but it is good to know what is about in order to avoid the displeasures I've passed through.
I've bought from the site: http://www.nm3e.com of Tim Brown, NM3E a new BIRD element 1000C which cost me 80$ plus 40$ the transportation +20$ fees for sending the money. The 1000C element is defect from fabrication (probably one in 1000000 manufactured annually is defect). I don't consider this thing a drama but the troubles started when I've tried to explain the whole situation to TIM BROWN who instead of apologizing (as it would have been a normal thing to do) and to ask me to send back the element in order to be changed, he tried to find all kind of methods through which I should repair the 1000C element by myself, and I am talking here about an item that should have been perfect.
With great difficulty he finally agreed that I return the 1000C element in order to send me another one in exchange but on my expense. I don't understand why I have to pay a new fee for a mistake made by BIRD.
This means twice 40$ for forth and back plus 20$ the fees required to send the money.
Considering that this seems more likely a swindle I evidently didn't accept to send the element on my expense. I wonder why BIRD company stains its honour with such collaborators.
Regarding the present situation I kept the defect 1000C element, having a 140$ damage, sum that I consider they've stolen from me, feeling a great nausea towards BIRD and its collaborators.73' Mircea,YO5AXB.
