Mark, with the narrow bandwidth of JT65, and because the lowest 
frequency is around 1280 Hz in the USB mode, I would think you would be 
well within our FCC regulations, even if you decided to XMIT as low as 
144.100!  I think this arrangement is a very good solution for the JA 
frequency restriction problems.  Too bad we can't come up with a way to 
do the same thing on 6m!
