[Moon-net] Help 23cms transverter DF9LN/DB6NT

sorry, a bit off topic...

I am trying to refurbish my old 23cms transverter. It was published by DF9LN/DB6NT in DUBUS 4/1992 and quite popular, so I think there might be a chance someone on here discovered this problem as well.

When switching PTT there is always a short peak of RF detectable at the output even with no drive on 144MHz, actually I can see it even without the external LO turned on. I have no spectrum analyzer and I cannot tell on which frequency this peak is generated. I use my HP432 power meter for detection.

Any help?
