[Moon-net] Jamesburg ONLINE Saturday 7/7/7. 144 & 1296

We will have the Jamesburg dish in CM96EK online for the 2M CW event.
We are available after the event as well (until we fall asleep!)
We will be running 800W with 1.1dB NF into the 29.6M dish.
Callsign for 2M will be N9JIM.

We heard lots of signals last time, even though we had no preamp and could only share 1 hour of the event window.
We even were able to hear our own 2m SSB echoes.

Now with the preamp, we should be able to work quite a few (we hope).

Moon rise is 1 hour into the Saturday operating period, so we get 2 hours to try this time.

We will will also have 1296 operating. Now with 300W instead of the 100W we were running. We were able to work 2M dishes that were running 200W with easy copy on our side.
Callsign for 1296 this time may rotate, probably AD6IW or W6BY.

3400/3456 on the 15th is ON PLAN!
Both 3456 and 3400 xverters are working.
We are still finishing up the 50W amp & preamp and sequencers.
Target: 50W and 1dB NF.
