Hi Wilt and Group;
All Actuator RF noise is generated at the Commutator & Brush's it the
Actuator Motor DC which are usually 36VDC Motors drawing a couple of
Amps at full voltage.
I have been able to totally eliminate the noise here from HF to
23cm......not quite that simple, but not difficult either.
Get as close the Brush Holders as possible and attach a 100pF , 10pF
and a 1uF in parallel from each Brush holder to Motor Housing (Ground).
If possible and your Motor is inclosed in a Hood Housing obtain an of
AC Receptacle Feed through Filter and mount it in the Box, or clamp
it to the outside as close to the Input as possible.
It done wonders for me here and not as difficult as it may sound.........
Unless you are in the Air on a Tower a couple of hundred feet with no
Safety Belt or Ladder, hi hi
Regards & GL, Darrell
