[Moon-net] Jamesburg Earth Station Preservation/EME/Do the Math

I have been working diligently on the long term security and preservation of 
Jamesburg., and have had some success in raising Corporate; even 
Congressional, interest  in the search for a Suitor for preserving the site, 
long term.

A Raytheon CEO recently published an alarm call (URL below)  pointing out 
that the US is severely lacking in Science/Math track students, who are 
germinated in the middle school level.  I feel that we MUST have kids at the 
EME event that is rapidly approaching.  Also Media.  I am sending a formal 
invitation to the CEO of Raytheon to tour Jamesburg, and see our EME project 
early on, hopefully accompanied by selected, local students. who will 
literally hold the mic, and in addition to 2 way qsos hopefully,  the 
scenario with a lot of impact, will be kids hearing, and being taught the 
profound observations of the 2.5 second delay from when they say "Hello!" to 
the time THEY hear their own voice returning.  I feel this key scenario will 
be crucial to mobilizing serious  corporate support for the acquisition of 
the site.

Also, is there anyone out there who may know how to reach Alan Alda, of 
MASH, and Scientific American TV show fame, to extend an invite to him to 
see the EME event?
In support of this, are there any seasoned Photo Shop experts that can take 
one of our great pictures of the dish, and Photo Shop a Raytheon Logo or 
simply the Raytheon Name, either superimposed on the vertical stairwell 
cover, or across the dish?  Come on, there has to be someone that can do 
this...If so, then we can include such a graphic in our invite to the CEO of 
Raytheon, and other CEO's (With  THEIR Corporate Logo, superimposed) that 
will also be approached.
We need to raise Corporate Interest, even more, at Jamesburg.
