What a shame and a great loss to the Ham community.
I never met the man personally but we developed a friendship through 
quite a number of e-mail exchanges over the year or so
while I was learning about QRO amplifiers. He was always eager to help 
me and never missed an opportunity to respond to
questions about my homebrew 8877 amplifier when posted to moon-net. I 
will miss his friendly enthusiasm...a true Ham indeed !
